Happiness is a combination of both to be honest with you.
Emotions are choices. We choose to be happy, or angry, or sad, or whatever.
Maybe happiness lies in that pursuit, not just the end result.
For many across the moment and joy are decisions for many across the good stuff.
I think it half and half. Yes we work towards what we think will make us happy. But it also a state of mind. If you choose to be happy with your life, every thing should fall into place to help you achieve this goal.
